When Sound Ideas began business as a recording studio in 1978, we borrowed sound effects from our friends and often created our own. That prompted us to introduce the world's first sound effects library on CD in 1985, and a year later we released the first all digital CD sound effects collection. Our product line now includes more than 100 collections, used by recording studios, radio stations, television and cable networks, post-production houses, corporations, Web designers, and game developers all over the world.
